I like how you speak when you explain, you speak in a higher tone until the end of your sentence where your tone goes back to normal and you end up speaking slightly faster.

I'm disappointed that these videos always seem to come out at least a week before my Chrome actually updates. 🙁

I've been using Canary for years and subscribe to this channel so I watch the vids as soon as they go live. I just wasn't clear on which channel they are released with, but this clears it up a bit. Thanks! ;D

Long story short, the code that is running in Canary eventually gets shipped to Production (what we call Chrome Stable). So the videos apply to all versions of Chrome.

The timing for releasing these docs and videos is complicated, and I don't want to bore you with it. The main point is: if you watch one of these videos, and you don't yet have access to a feature, you can run Chrome Canary, which you can think of the "developer preview" version of Chrome, and the feature will be available there.

@Kayce Ok, then I think I misunderstood. So then, you're saying that these videos for new versions are in sync with Canary builds, yes? Not Dev, Beta, or Prod channels?

Chrome Canary is the latest code. It's released as soon as it's built, though, so it breaks about once a month. But anything I talk about here, you'll be able to use right away in Canary.

Do you even beta bro? www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel . You can manually check for the latest version: Chrome > About Chrome. This will show your current version and check for a new version.

So many useful features. If you remove the ">" character and type "?" it shows you a list of other things you can do

That's why I called it a bonus tip! The bonus tips aren't new, they're just helpful features that people might not know about.
