i thought google chrome came to be because IE and firefox werent really doing a great job in terms of apis, standarization, debugging tools and so on,i remember having to install firebug on firefox just to be able to inspect what was going on with my ajax, because the default developer console on firefox was… well… something

Shanene Larissa I think what he was saying is that Google was going to invest in a team to contribute to Firefox to help with those problems, and just decided to go all in on their own browser instead
