While the Mobile Ads SDK has supported rewarded video ads for a while now, publishers have needed to use mediation in their integrations. Now, however, AdMob has launched its own rewarded video demand, which means publishers can get ads directly from AdMob, no mediation required.

In this episode, we’ll cover how to take advantage of these new ads in Unity. In addition to the APIs for Android, iOS, and C++, AdMob maintains an open source plugin for Unity developers. With its consistent C# interface, publishers can code once and deploy for both Android and iOS devices. In this episode, you’ll see how to import the plugin, how to request ads, and how to use C# events to tap into the rewarded video ad lifecycle.

i am trying but reward video ads aren't showing i did a debug in my build to display message and i receive the message in the methodrewardBasedVideo.onfailedtoload i get the message no fill

Hi Andrew, Thanks for your such a nice explaining video. i have implemented exact with the same way as you described, my interstitial ads are being displayed properly but unfortunately reward based video ads says "No Fill" each time. they are not displayed even a single time and even i didn't add the test device.Kindly give me a path to walk on so i can implement reward based video ads successfully in my project.Thanks

I got rewarded videos to work with Swift SpriteKit. #1 There are NO TEST ADS as of this time. So do not use Test Devices it will not work. You need to use real ads. #2. I used notifications. It is much easier and quicker. Am I allowed to make a video showing what I did? I think anyone who uses Swift /SpriteKit will be interested…….

Use test mode by adding a test device. Like so :AdRequest request = new AdRequest.Builder() .AddTestDevice(AdRequest.TestDeviceSimulator) // Simulator. .AddTestDevice("2077ef9a63d2b398840261c8221a0c9b") // My test device. .Build();
