Google Places API documentation: goo.gl/TFuHOh

In part 1 of this series, Laurence Moroney and Alyssa the AI present how to build a place-based experience in Android. In it you’ll learn how to use the Place API Place Picker to find and choose real-world places, and store their IDs in a Firebase database in order to build a place-based narrative.

I've been building this as an Android app. There are equivalent web APIs: developers.google.com/places/web-service/Hope that helps 🙂

it's just a quick tutorial, too much effort on the graphics would be unnecessary i think. In general, video was a bit cringy (imo at least) but i totally appreciate the effort. Thanks for the video!

Graphics were entirely rendered by me on a desktop machine — always meant to be low budget, and just a bit of fun. Sorry you didn't like 🙁

I thought I came back to the early 2000 when people get excited over 3D.
