Can someone please explain to me how software gets converted into an electrical signal. A binary 1 is virtual and technically nonexistent. It's just an idea. So how does this virtual idea of a 1 on your screen get converted into a real physical electrical signal in your computer. How can a bunch of wires and transistors "read" a 1 and "understand" that it stands for a signal. Every website I've looked at glosses over this idea by just saying "1 is on and 0 is off" and moves on
