– Set access permission for that user
– Create a PHP web service to access the data
– Create an iOS app with a tableview, multiple screens and a map
– Access the PHP web service via the app to download the data from your MySQL database.

I found that the service.php page is a blank page with nothing in it, and i don`t know what is going on…

Never mind, I named my database table "Location" instead of "Locations". I corrected and it is working now.

Ahh thank you for these vids!! I have a Senior Project to do on making an iOS app for an oil and gas company and I have never worked with xcode or Swift so these are a HUGE help!!

First off, great tutorial… got it all set up with my database. However…was wondering if you could point me towards a tutorial with multiple segues, with data from the same database ? Which will be useful for me to develop appeven app store (www.appeven.net). Example: I have a database with a bunch of restaurants. Would like initial view to be a choice of states. (Or find restaurant location closest to me) Clicking on a state takes you to a list of all restaurants with that state abbreviation.
