Talk Title: Native Docker on Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10, by Michael Friis

Abstract: Microsoft announced general availability of Windows Server 2016 at the Ignite conference in Atlanta. For Windows developers and IT-pros, the most exciting new Windows feature is containers, and containers on Windows Server 2016 are powered by Docker. This talk details the technical innovations that went into making Docker containers run natively on Windows and explains the significance of the achievement.

Speaker Biography: Michael Friis is a product manager at Docker. He works on making Docker and Microsoft technology work great together. Previously he was at Heroku and before that he co-founded AppHarbor, a .NET platform as a service. Michael tweets @friism.
