Many people see the incredible game systems built by people like Ben Heck, with custom formed plastics and complex electrical setups, and feel like they cannot build anything as awesome as that. I hope this project shows you that you can put together something cool with minimal skills and effort.

Another classic device butchered. You lot that stick a Pi in anything need to take a step back and pause for a day or two before destroying history for the sake of a teenagers play thing.

There is a commercial cleaner you can buy that will make that yellowed plastic look new. Then, you paint it with UV resistant clear. Cute project.

I watched this video yesterday, then I found a Realistic Portavision portable TV (5") Radio combo at Goodwill for $25. It was new in the box. I'm going to try to put in a 5" LCD, Digital TV tuner and an input switcher. I want to be able to use everything that is still there and just allow them to play RetroPie in addition. Thank you for the inspiration!

i'd have placed the Rasp pi in the back where the plug ins were all accessible, so you dont have to take apart to connect things. neat retro tv tho.
