Are you sure these are ball screws? Looks like an acme screw in the video.

To Clear up the "acme vs Ball screws" debate, look here: at 1:25.Make does not appear to have the latest model of the Benchtop Pro. The latest has 3/4" aluminum risers holding the X gantry, aluminum plates for the bearings and motor mounts, dust covers over the ball screws/precision rods, and an extruded aluminum bed on which you put your spoilboard. Cutting area is closer to X=25" Y=25.5" and the Z axis has 8" rise (12" with an optional Z carriage) I bought this machine in May(?). IT IS A BEAST! CNC Router Parts offers three different desktop router kits — the 'standard' and two different sizes of their 'pro' model. To these basic kits, the builder needs to add electronics (for which CNC Router Parts has a number of options), spindle, router mount, waste board and/or hold-down board, software, etc. I get that you couldn't tell us ALL the choices you made in building yours, but it would make your recommendation a lot more useful if you'd told us at least the major elements in your build.
