Urban refugees make up 80 percent of the 650,000 registered Syrian refugees living in Jordan, and two-thirds of refugees worldwide. Yet their access to aid is far below the level of camp-based refugees.

A group of university students in Boston, Massachusetts decided to band together and leverage innovative technologies to develop a mobile, cross-platform app that will be used by non-camp, urban Syrian refugees living in Amman, Jordan, to locate non-governmental organizations and service providers.
