Christina Compy joins Scott Hanselman to talk about the recently relaunched App Service Hybrid Connections. This feature enables your apps in the App Service to reach resources on other networks. Those other networks can be in Azure, on-premises or networks in other cloud providers.

@ajmacapaz:Yes.  It is the GA form of the feature which no longer requires a Biztalk account, leverages the new websocket based relay capability, has a greatly improved Hybrid Connection Manager and is just overall a better user experience.

We are starting to do HCM @T-Mobile.  This thing IS a game changer.  The fact that it is NOT an open-ended solution such as VPN, is just perfect to convince cloud governance teams!
