In this video how to install Python 3.6 in a Mac OS X or MacOS, both macOS High Sierra, Mavericks and Yosemite. As the Python website says, “Python 2.x is legacy, Python 3.x is the present and future of the language.”
For those who are learning Python on a Mac, it may be slightly frustrating that Apple doesn’t provide the latest version, typically used when learning Python these days.
The easiest way is to download the Mac installer,

www.python.org
Install it by following the steps in the GUI, go to terminal and to start python type,
