Margin/box/padding made me gave up on learning last years. But now i'm being serious about this started to learn all over again and creating a training website while learning is really heplful i was using the <table> tag to do some positioning and ad box next to each other modifiying there scale with css it worked pretty well but was also verry limited. With float and clear i will do some real good positioning and rules the internet MOUHA HA HA HA …hum…sorry…just happy to know more and more about website building thanks quentin.

because of the width of the boxes. the two parent elements have a width of 50% each, so when a margin is added to either one, it is no longer 50 percent of the total space, therefore there is over lapping. so you need to use a child element instead and give the child element the margin. and now the margin created is within the parent boxes, therefore when given a margin size, all it does is affect the sizes of the smaller boxes inside, which is why he had to give them both 15px so that they are evenly… Read more »
