In this live training session we will learn how to work with Unity’s Navigation tools at runtime. We will explore the publicly available Components for Runtime NavMesh Building and look at how we can use the provided components to create characters which can navigate dynamic environments and walk on arbitrarily rotated surfaces, including enemies that walk on walls. In this session we will take questions from the Twitch chat.

Can we update a specific part of a navmesh surface without building the whole thing again i.e. a tree falls over in the middle of the navmesh we should only update around the tree and not update the entire surface. Or simply use a navmesh modifier?

Best, I think, would be to build the navmesh around your agents, that thing is shown in one of the unite videos.
