Are you looking for a way to allow users to register to your site on the front end? The default method WordPress allows for registering on your site shows WordPress’ branding and can not match your site’s theme. In this video we will show you how to create a custom user registration form in WordPress.

Summary of this tutorial:

For this tutorial we will be using the WordPress plugin WPForms:

wpforms.com

With the plugin installed and active you will visit WPForms, Settings page to enter the license key.

Next under WPForms, Addons you will want to click install on the User Registration Addon.

With the addon installed and activated you will go under WPForms, Add new to create the new form, name it and select User Registration.

It will automatically add the fields required and connect them to what is required for signing up a new user.

Now you would go under the page where you want the registration form or add a new page to add the form to.

Once you click the Add form button and select the registration form it will be added to your page for you to publish.

It depends on what you want to add to the site, common plugins to start out with are SEO plugins like: www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-install-and-setup-wordpress-seo-plugin-by-yoast/as well as a caching plugin.

I subscribed hoping that I would get useful and interesting content every week. But almost all I've got is learning how to use a plugin to do something. So I'm deeply sorry, but this is my goodbye [wave].

I swear, this series is helpful, but it should be called "How to Install a Plugin to [do a certain action] on WordPress"
